Welcome to my Blog

 Hi Friends,

This s the blog to go with my new Youtube Channel called "The Vintage QoE" .  What is QoE you may ask...Its short for Queen of Everything.  My family's favorite name for me.  I dabble, in all the crafts and hobbies.  I love all things vintage.  Vintage recipes, Vintage/Antique items, vintage patterns, etc.

I enjoy video games, I play frequently on Diablo III, you can find me on Blizzard and Discord.  I will provide those links in the near future.  

I love to cook and bake, and have set some goals for 2021 to accomplish.  My favorites right now are black forest cookies.  I can't seem to get enough of them. I enjoy trying recipes by others and determining if they are as good as advertised, or if they fail.  I enjoy creating my own recipes as well as tweaking other recipes to my tastes. 

I'm a cross stitcher and have been since I was 16.  I started embroidery as a child at the age of 8.  I've been an avid knitter since 2008.  I dabble in many needle arts.  I spin my own yarn, I weave, I sew, and I'm working my way to bobbin lace, Nahlbinding, and quilt making.  

I'm  gadget girl, and love to try new things.  Other hobbies include, fishing, camping, boating, motorcycling, gardening, decorating, planning, and whatever else catches my eye.
